On 29th August 2024, One Young World Switzerland was honoured to be hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Bern for a memorable send-off event. These inspiring delegates will be representing Switzerland at the global One Young World Summit taking place this September in Montréal/Tiohtiá:ke.
The ceremony was an exceptional blend of meaningful exchanges and insightful discussions:
Ambassador Wittmann, the Canadian Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, extended a hearty welcome to the delegates, setting a tone of support and encouragement.
Valuable Exchanges: Last year’s delegates shared their enriching experiences, offering invaluable advice to the new cohort, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Insightful Sessions: The event featured brilliant sessions on the plenary challenges of this year’s summit, including the Climate and Ecological Crisis, Health Equality, Indigenous Voices, AI, and Delivering Lasting Peace. Special thanks to our incredible speakers:
